Recognition, equivalence and nostrification procedures can only be performed in Ankara, capital city of Turkiye, where the Turkish Council of Higher Education is located.

Who Can Apply For Diploma Equivalency?

Applications for equivalency recognition can only be completed through the Turkish e-government gateway system (https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/). It is mandatory to be an e-government gateway user, to have a username and password. Therefore, if you have obtained your higher education diploma from another country other than Türkiye, and if you have a legal residence permit in Türkiye, you may apply for your diploma equivalency certificate.
